Falmouth Tides

The sea view was absolutely fantastic during our stay for 2 nights in early Oct. Our ground floor room (12) opened onto a small patio and then we were on the beach. The weather was superb so we enjoyed blue skies and water and the sound of the sea lapping on the narrow beach. The sunrise and sunsets were stunning, too. The other side of the hotel is Falmouth Harbour with a plethora of boats. Our room was spacious and comfortable with 2 double beds, an armchair, a kitchenette with a microwave and fridge. Paper beakers/ plates/ plastic cutlery were available from the reception office. The patio had 2 chairs and 2 small tables. Two sunbeds and a parasol on the beach were assigned to our room. A "nice touch" was a record player with 5 albums including one by the Beach Boys (very appropriate!).

We stayed at Falmouth Tides as we wanted a hotel that was close to a ferry option to Martha’s Vineyard. We loved it! The lady on reception was very helpful and the room was fantastic - we had a fantastic view of the harbour. The beds were comfy and we loved the record player. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous beach views! Very nice and clean rooms, record player in room is a cute touch. Nice little balcony/patio for each room. Super easy parking (assigned spots by room #). I was here off-season so it was pretty quiet. Walls are a bit thin between rooms, I would probably pay the extra for a corner suite if I'd known this. Could hear my "neighbor" coughing throughout the night but luckily nothing more than that!

We loved the place and would hurry back if in the area! The proximity to the water, the feel of the place, and the general ambience was fantastic. It was exceptionally clean. There was a turntable in the room with some LP 60s, which was very fun ||That said, there were a few things we didn’t like, but not enough to override highly rating the experience. There was only one small trashcan in the room and we wound up having to put trash on the floor. They didn’t offer in-room coffee but there was a coffee vendor that you could walk to and buy your coffee for $4 up.

Lovely motel on the coast. Room was very clean, beds were comfy & we had a sea view which was lovely. Bathroom was freezing, that's the only downside.
