The worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my entire life. The beds are super uncomfortable, the sheets and towels are super stained and smell strongly of chlorine, and the rooms smell really bad because the carpets are very old and they don't clean them properly. The clerk or manager is the most despotic and rude person in the world. He yelled at me numerous times and discriminated against me just for not speaking English well. I do not recommend visiting this hotel at all. Don't go through anything as unpleasant as the one I went through!

I recently stayed at the Red-Carpet Inn located at 9624 Baltimore Ave, College Park, MD, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.||Upon arrival on January 20, 2025, I encountered several issues that made my stay unpleasant. Firstly, I had previously experienced problems such as no electricity and no hot water during past visits. Despite these issues, I decided to give the motel another chance.||However, this time, the situation was even worse. I had informed the owner multiple times that my card was locked and requested to be notified before it was charged. Despite sending 15 emails as reminders, my card was charged before I even arrived at the motel. Terrible Experience – Hostile Staff and Awful Room Conditions I had one of the worst hotel experiences at Red Carpet Inn College. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a rude and hostile receptionist who seemed annoyed by every question I had. Simple inquiries like asking about check-in or local amenities were met with eye-rolls and impatient responses. It was clear he didn’t care at all about providing decent customer service. As for the room, it was just as bad. The condition was terrible – there were stains on the carpet, the bathroom was dirty, and there was a musty smell that wouldn’t go away. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! In all my years of traveling, I have never experienced such hostility from hotel/motel staff; much less from the OWNER. I don't know how this place is still operating with the way the owner treats his guests. I was yelled at over the phone over asking for confirmation that my room was booked... Thankfully it allowed me to dodge the bullet of staying there. It prompted me to read the other reviews which were shocking, but not surprising giving my limited interaction with the owner.
