Cherry Hill Park

Cherry Hill was perfect for our families needs. The park is spacious, clean, and well appointed. The amount of fall foliage we were able to see was truly incredible. The bath houses are spacious and clean. Every member of the staff was helpful, kind, and informative. The office store is well stocked and organized with all kinds of souvenirs as well as other helpful and necessary items. Multiple trash bins in fairly close proximity to all lots, but we did notice a lack of pet waste/bag stations. We unfortunately didn’t stay as long as we’d have liked so we weren’t able to enjoy all the park has to offer but that is not a reflection of CH and solely on our travel plans and the cold snap that rolled through. A must when visiting DC. We stayed over the Christmas/New Years week so it was cold but the campground was great. Each site had a heated spigot provided by the campground. We filled out tanks up since we forgot out heated water hose at home. The bus from the campground to the Metro & Metro to the city were flawless. NOTE: Get to the bus stop early! We missed our bus one day & had to UBER (only ($12 so not bad & a 5 min ride!). All around great trip & highly recommend.

We started planning a 40-year reunion of our Peace Corps Ghana group of volunteers over a year and a half ahead. We wanted to find somewhere on the east coast where a number of us lived. We figured the DC area would be appropriate but didn't want to be in the city. A Google search led us to a list of 10 likely sites and we quickly zeroed in on Cherry Hill Park. Their website is comprehensive and very informative. We sent a scout to check it out and she confirmed the images projected on the website.||The park is large and conveniently located. There is both a Costco and a large grocery store nearby. The facilities are well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We worked with Cathy from Group Reservations and she was so accommodating even though our group was only about 29 p

I can not say one bad thing about this camp ground. The customer service is amazing. The lots are nice and big. The price in my opinion was way under what it could be with all of the amenities. Everything and I mean everything was clean and top notch! I wish we could have stayed for more than two days.

Cherry Hill is a great place to stay. It is very convenient to Washington, DC. The Metro line buses stop at the RV Park frequently and the Green Belt line (Metro Train) start is only a few miles away. The staff at Cherry Hill very professional, courteous and accommodating. Then park is exceptionally clean to include the grounds and bath houses. They will even help plan your trips around the area. Awesome place 5 stars all the way.
