Ramada by Wyndham Statesville

Good place. It's under renovations now but the room was clean, and service was friendly. Except the checkout lady. Barely made eye contact. But the other people were good. A young lady at night and an older lady that was finishing up her shift before 7. The black lady during checkout just didn't seem to want to be bothered, but still just fine. Maybe try to be a bit more friendly. Everything else was perfect.

Everything was lovely! We had stayed in another Ramada in a different state previously and had a bad experience. So this was a really great experience. The room was brand new and clean and the bed was really comfortable. They are in the midst of remodeling so they didn't have a regular breakfast but they had takeout, muffins and Jimmy Dean's sausage sandwiches and juice. So that was good for us!

I came to Statesville (after a concert in Greensboro) for Balloonfest. I stayed for the week. |The room was great. The bed (a kingsize) was fantastic! There wasn't a night that I didn't sleep like a log! |Breakfast was good. There were a variety of choices - hot and cold!|Although the hotel is undergoing renovations it was not an issue! This will be my choice of lodging when I return to Statesville!

The bed room was not clean. They are renovating so the whole place is a disaster. The upstairs rooms have a good inch and half space under the door. We found mouse poop.

We were heading down to Hilton Head and this was a great halfway point for us. This location is undergoing a beautiful renovation, but it's still quiet in the rooms. The front desk was helpful for needs, we really appreciated that they allowed dogs as ours is with us on this trip, and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Everything is new: the sinks, showers, beds, desk and sitting nook with movable desk. There is a refrigerator, microwave, coffee fixings and ice bucket tray. The bed with the pillows was so comfortable. There is a continental breakfast which is a bagged breakfast, but that's because of the remodel. It was juice, a muffin and a microwaveable breakfast sandwich. If that's not your thing, there are restaurants nearby. We may stop on the way home in a few weeks. For the price
