Hilton Garden Inn Statesville

I used to love Hilton and have always trusted the brand for comfort and consistency—but this location was a major disappointment. To be fair, the staff is wonderful: polite, professional, and clearly doing their best. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The on-site restaurant took nearly two hours to prepare two steaks, which came cold when finally served… completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel of this caliber. No explanation, no sense of urgency—just an incredibly long wait. Even worse, the room itself offers almost no sound insulation. I can hear the neighbors talking, flushing their toilets, and even snoring through the walls. Privacy and rest are basic expectations for any hotel stay, and this room fails on both counts. I stayed at the hotel for 5 months for business travel. Hilton has always been my choice. I was impressed with the cleaning staff, the hotel chef and all of the restaurant staff Victoria was Fabulous. I am sad that I have forgotten some of the restaurant staff names. But they were all excellent. The food is the best compared to any hotel or private restaurant. The rooms I would upgrade the towels, floors and tvs. But, the staff made my trip fabulous.

A great hotel in a good location but the auto dealership next door starts playing music at 7:30 in the morning. I hope the hotel works with the dealership to quiet the music on weekends. Otherwise, the hotel is great..the rooms are spacious, the staff welcoming, and there are rooms for meetings.

Positive: The room was great, clean, newer looking, and I wish I had had time to checked out the amenities. They looked good, but my trip was short. Negative: The only thing was the quality of the scrambled eggs. It tasted powdered or something and was disappointing.

Top notch place to stay (this isnt a 4 or 5 star), no complaints so far. You will be paying for breakfast (heard it was delicious) Highly recommended from my experience. (5th floor)
