Customer Reviews
We were in San Francisco to visit family. We chose Ramada because - though expensive - it was a better bargain than other nearby hotels. The room was disappointing. It was very small and had no USB outlets. The TV could have used some basic instructions. More wash cloths should have been provided without having to request them. After three days we had to ask that our room be cleaned, as the trash cans were full and we needed fresh towels. Breakfast was just average. We will not be returning.
My stay at the hotel was just okay. While the room was clean and the service and location were good, the room itself was too small. My biggest issue was that my room was never cleaned, and no one ever asked if I wanted cleaning services 😞
I felt very helpless that I couldn’t get a taxi to the Ramada from the Jack London Square ferry. It was getting dark; and, as a woman alone, I was getting scared. In desperation; I called the hotel and asked them to please find me a taxi. I tried like 5 or 6 companies. The front desk man simply gave me a phone number. I did eventually get a taxi — but, by now it was dusk. ||He was very nice when I finally arrived; and met me at the door. Still polite, I wasn’t in the best of moods. Then, I couldn’t find my room. The corridors are really confusing! The Front Desk guy must have seen me on a camera— since he came upstairs and helped me find my room. He opened the door for me and pointed out that I got a “nice big bed” (which was fabulous).||In the morning — I had a taxi arriving at 6:15am to
Pictures do not match the reality. Upon entering my room, everything smelt like cigarettes which ultimately gave me a headache. The bathroom area wasn't clean at all and has an interesting set up where the sink is not in the same room as the shower. It's cheap and that definitely shows in the upkeep. Also, there wasn't really any checking of guests entering the premises even though it after 9 pm when I got there. I was there with a group and someone else checked me in, so I walked in the front door without using a key and I walked right up to my room via the stairs. I spent one night there, but ended up leaving and going to the Marriott City Center, where I had a much more comfortable stay.
Great location (don’t recommend walking alone after 10pm if you’re a woman) and nice service, but cleaning and the rest is very meh. Terrible coffee tho; and the gym is three equipment where two don’t work. No weights or space for exercise. AC doesn’t work there. You can go to and back the airport/ center city sfo with no problem.
