We just stayed overnight between flights and stayed here because it is conveniently located near the Miami airport. The room was clean and quiet, with a coffee bar/microwave/refrigerator kitchenette in our room. There is an nice outdoor pool but we were there after it closed. The shuttle service runs once an hour on the hour and even in traffic only takes 10 to 15 minutes. Attached to the hotel is Old Tom's Sports Bar and Grill which has a relaxed atmosphere and great food. We had the wings and the steak which were both delicious. All in all it was a very nice overnight stay.

I generally stay here the night before cruising out of Miami. This time I was given a room upstairs. This hotel for the love of God, needs to add an elevator. I'm over 70 yrs old and dragging luggage up a flight of stairs is not in my travel plans. The room I had this time smelled of mold. Luckily I travel with an air purifier in my luggage so that saved me and I was able to tolerate the odor. They just need to shampoo the carpet with some vinegar, baking soda and kill the mold growing in the room. The hotel was clean and so was the room. They offer transportation to the Port of Miami for a very low price (aprox $14/per person). So the inconvenience paid off. We walked to the IHOP restaurant which was about 2 blocks away for dinner. There's a McDonalds next door on the other side of the p

I would not stay here again. Pros: close to airport, shuttle worked, area was safe to walk around and there are a few facilities in walking distance (McDonald's, IHOP, small cafe and liquor store). There is a small outdoor pool that looked ok, we didn't use it. Bed was comfortable, sheets and towels were clean. Cons: Breakfast not included but didn't look great anyway. No elevator. Room was small, very old and beaten up (peeling paint, dirty carpet, gouges in the trim, chipped bathroom tiles, etc). Room was NOT very clean at all, carpet was disgusting. Room is not soundproof, heard hallway, other rooms etc. Seedy people wandering around, security at room next door in the night. Did not feel very safe from either a hygiene nor a "security" perspective.

I’m begging you, do not stay at this hotel. Thankfully, we were only here for one night, otherwise we would have left. Check-in was easy, however, the online check-in didn’t work. Don’t even bother doing it, just wait until you get to the hotel. Next, we called ahead of time to set-up transportation to the port. They said it was $14/pp and that we had to book at check-in. Okay; not bad. We went to book at check in and they told us we had to wait until the day of the transfer. We then waited until the next morning at 7:00 am and went down to book it. Somehow it was full, but there was no one down there? Whatever, we took an uber. The worst part comes from the hotel room itself. The rooms are DISGUSTING. We found hair everywhere in the sheets, and it wasn’t our own. The bathroom is tiny. Yo

The Good: Fantastic pre-cruise stay. The rooms are the perfect size, the facilities are great, and the sports bar has a solid menu. The staff is friendly, and I loved the convenience of the well-stocked vending machines (food and health supplies). Buffet breakfast for $12 was excellent. In addition you can reserve shuttle bus to the cruise port as well. The Bad: The airport shuttle service was unacceptable. The driver drove past the designated pickup point simply because I didn't "wave" them down. A great hotel overall, but they need to fix their shuttle protocol.
