Clarion Inn & Suites Miami International Airport

Hello, I recently stayed at Clarion Inn & Suites and would like to share some honest feedback regarding the guest room experience. While the location and overall service met expectations, there were several issues related to the room layout, furniture functionality, and overall comfort that negatively affected my stay. These are not isolated details, but areas that I believe could be meaningfully improved to enhance guest satisfaction and long-term room performance. We enjoyed our stay and slept well. Room was quiet, had good air conditioning, hot shower and comfy beds. Location is near airport and the complimentary shuttle service was a great asset. Self service laundry was really convenient and we had a nice dinner at the restaurant too.

Positive: the location is the best if you are traveling from/to the airport. it is literally 5 min drive to the airport, plus they have shuttle as well. Negative: the staff is not that warm and friendly, they do not smile at all! It is not their mistake, but, managers please provide better work environment for them so that they would feel happier!

Took about 30 minutes to check in - only two clerks available with a line of about 20 to 25 people on a Saturday night (peak cruise passenger arrivals) including those on my bus coming in on the bus from the airport. Room smelled like sewer gas - first thing you notice when you open the door and walk in. Other reviewers have made the same comment. It was persistent, and bad. Breakfast not included. It’s listed in the room amenities section but there is a little asterisk afterward saying it’s not included. Deceptive. I overlooked the asterisk when I made the reservation and was unpleasantly surprised when I went down to eat. I paid. The buffet in its entirety consisted of dry overcooked scrambled eggs, bad sausage, cold potatoes, an apple or orange, and white bread for toast. Nothin

This is a decent place to stay. No amenities or anything spectacular. Hotel restaurant is nothing to write home about but the service made up for EVERYTHING. The shuttle driver was so kind and hospitable. Yiraldi greeted us when we got there and helped us store our luggage and gave us a key card for the restroom until our room was ready. Upon leaving, I was trying to find a bottle of water and the machine wasn’t working and took my money and my Uber had arrived. When Yiraldi heard of this, she ran (literally) to the restaurant and got me a bottle of water. So kind, thoughtful and above and beyond service that I’ve never seen before!
