Ramada by Wyndham Cedar Rapids

We booked online thinking it was nice. Only to find filthy rooms, broken washers and dryers, spoiled breakfast items, wet carpets, dirty pool and very rude staff. The maid was ignoring my do not disturb sign and everyday tried forcing her way in and demanding tips. Not one time did they clean my room. She banged on my door loudly non stop until I would answer and then would push her way in and demand tips. I literally left and gave away the remainder of my fully paid week, and went to new hotel, so I can get some peaceful rest. I've never seen anything like it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND it to my worst my enemy as even they deserve more.

Great Hotel. Once you get passed the outside appearance the welcoming experience occurs. The staff were friendly, customer focused and fun. There was always a smile greeting you. The rooms were clean. I would stay again. D at the front desk counter was outstanding.

The A/C was a bit loud, same with the bathroom fan. Other than that, my stay was excellent! The bed was amazing for me, I need a soft bed. Most hotel beds are too hard for me. The breakfast in the morning was very good. I would gladly stay here again. My little dog enjoyed the stay as well.

After staying several nights at another hotel (where I have diamond status) where I was rudely rushed out the door at 1115 am (even carrying my luggage) I called to see if I could get an early check-in around noon. They were happy to have a room available as soon as I arrived. The lobby is beautiful and the staff have gone above and beyond. Management is regularly interacting with guests and eager to please. The hotel is dated but it definitely has potential. There's a restaurant/bar in the hotel that offers room service. Nice size indoor pool and fitness room. Beds are amazingly soft. Rooms have nice furniture however the windows need replaced in the several areas. The bathroom is dated but the shower has great water pressure and shower head. Hotel rates are reasonable before considering

My husband and I stayed here due to us going to a new company. In our 22 years of driving it was one of the the best I've ever been treated. Matt went out of his way in kindness and the big guy behind the desk was such a blessing. They have a very nice breakfast, pool and hot tub for those sore muscles too. We will definitely be back through. Thanks again!
