Campsite wasn’t clean upon arrival. I had to clean up 6 piles of dog poop. Even though it was set Way back in the woods, there was Constant noise from gravel pit and waste management site from next road over, even at night. On the plus side, there were a lot of nice campsites to choose from. Nice trails to hike. Beautiful setting, but the noise from the nearby waste management was unexpected.

My family stayed in the glamping tents in July. This was such a fun camp resort spot! The glamp tents are perfect, even come with a heater for cool nights. They kept out bugs great. There's a nice shower facility, though maybe wish there were a couple more units. The bocci court is pretty great, too. It was still under construction when we came (we watched as they built the pool), but we appreciated that the resort allowed guests to also use Rippling River amenities for the pool, hot tub, bar, etc. The facility feels like you're far enough away from city life (especially with the mile-long winding road in lol) but also close enough to downtown Marquette so if you need food/drink it's a 10-minute drive. It was certainly worth the cost and stay!

Loop B, July 2025: Overall, the camp was quite nice. Open areas for 2 tents plus your vehicle. There did not appear to be a quiet hour. The campsites had fire rings with grills on it. Easily used to cook on iron skillets. The electrical boxes had plugs for standard devices as well as the plug necessary for a trailer. Bathrooms are mainly well kept, though they could be swept more often. They are also warm and have great running water. Additionally, bathrooms have codes to enter them. Somehow people can’t seem to be bothered to knock. I highly recommend you pull the door and make sure it’s locked. The dirt road into the camp is long and windy, while it’s wide enough for 2 vehicles, campers are not careful. Almost got hit by a truck that took a turn using the middle of the road. Believe

Great campground and will hopefully only get better as it is further developed. As state park users, we appreciated the great shower and bathrooms. The lodge has really anything you could need on sale, including beer. There are chairs set up for gorgeous views of the river, indoor and outdoor games and more. Great hiking/biking to carp river falls, though more signage would have helped us. Quick drive to Marquette for even more fun. We will be back for sure!

If you are looking for large wooded sites located in a huge forested property with electric hookups, then this property is for you. The campground is 1.5 miles off the highway so it is secluded but still within 5M of Marquette. The Crossroads Restaurant is a couple miles down the road the other direction and has great food and casual atmosphere. We also went over to the Dry Dock in Harvey one night it was raining and had a great time visiting with the locals. The lodge is recently finished and is located by the river with a view of small pretty waterfalls, a stone patio, picnic tables and chairs down by the water. There would be enough room for an event or just a place to hang out an have a beverage. The bathhouses are very clean and new. The layout of the bathrooms and showers is a little
