Quality Inn & Suites RDU Airport

I stay in the area for business. I usually stay at the La Quinta next door but I thought I'd try this one. It's not terrible but not great. The room I saw when booking had a big TV, the one I had was a small 32" old TV (don't expect to use any of your apps. It's too old. No streaming. Bring an HDMI cable so you can hook up a laptop or your phone if you're so inclined, because you can't cast/screen mirror either). My deadbolt didn't work. The door isn't lined up properly so that was a mild concern but not a huge deal. The tub filled up like a bath while showering. Some of My pillows smelled of someone's cologne when I arrived. Overall, the hotel is relatively clean and well-maintained. They also offer a continental breakfast, which is a nice touch. I’ve interacted with four different front desk staff members, and most have been great—friendly, helpful, and they genuinely seem to enjoy working in hospitality. However, there’s one low-energy, negative female employee who consistently makes things difficult. Each time I’ve spoken with her, she seems determined to say “no” to whatever is asked—from saying our reservation should have been canceled, to refusing an extension, to trying to make us switch rooms unnecessarily. Stayed Dec 5th, 2025. This location was perfect. approximately 1 mile from RDU Airport. Easy access to property. Quick check in, Very friendly and helpful front desk worker. He had several loads of people come in to check in at one time and he moved them thru very quickly. Room was clean, good value for over night stay. Hotel was quiet until 7:00 AM. Which wasn’t the hotels fault. Planes were landing at airport. (NO FAULT OF HOTEL). Would diffidently book again. Oh and bed in Room 107 was very comfortable.

I had to make a reservation late at night after my flight was canceled. The front desk staff were helpful when I called about the shuttle, providing clear directions on where to wait and how long it would take. The shuttle service was prompt, and check-in was smooth. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall the service met expectations. However, the hair dryer in the room did not work, and the breakfast options were fairly limited.

2 stars is all they deserve. Starting with the “fast and furious” shuttle ride in a beater van from the airport. I’m surprised we made it without crashing! Room is clean, but dated. All equipment is old, worn, and loud while trying to sleep. Lighting in the room is super blinding white LED’s. Should have chosen “warm” lighting… All linens are old and stained (sheets, towels, etc). Bathroom is subpar. Loose toilet and seat, “warm” water at best, and the tub doesn’t drain properly… Better than sleeping at the airport, but that’s about it.
