Quality Inn & Suites Goodyear - Phoenix West

Nice hotel in a good area. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Nice pool and hot tub. Great breakfast included. Conveniently located right off of I-10. There are many restaurants and stores for your every need very close by. Would definitely stay there again. In fact, when we come back to see our Grandson who we just escorted here for college we will definitely stay at Quality Inn and Suites....

My wife and I went to the Fiesta Bowl and since all close hotels were sold out we booked the Quality Inn based on pictures and reviews. ||Boy were we wrong. The pictures must be at least 30 years old. It was rundown with an almost empty parking lot. ||The young lady at the desk was polite which was nice||The room was terrible, the floor was sticky and dirty. When we sat on the bed the springs or something hit the floor with a metallic sound. The air conditioner made a loud grinding noise and the traffic noise outside was very loud. ||The sheets were worn and the pillows were so hard they felt like trying to sleep on a board. The place feels welcoming almost as soon as you arrive, even before you have fully understood its appeal. The greeting is warm and naturally well judged, the menu is focused without feeling too narrow, and the atmosphere carries a calm that gently shuts out the world beyond it. Nothing seems designed to stand apart, yet every detail works so smoothly with the next that settling in feels immediate and leaving feels unexpectedly hard.

I stayed at this Quality Inn and had one of the most unsettling experiences I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. When I arrived, the entire property was swarming with police vehicles and K9 units. It was clear something serious was happening, but at no point did staff inform me of what was going on or attempt to reassure guests. I felt completely unsafe trying to check in under such stressful conditions. The police activity didn’t stop there—it continued directly outside my room, making it nearly impossible to relax or feel secure. There was zero communication from management, and no effort made to ensure guests were safe or even acknowledged. This was not the peaceful or professional experience I expected when booking a stay. Once the rate goes over $100, it becomes hard to justify for this location. The hotel sits right next to the freeway, so it’s loud and noisy, with constant traffic, trucks, and people walking by. If you’re just looking for a basic place to sleep and don’t mind noise, it may work. However, if you’re expecting anything close to luxury or complimentary amenities, this is definitely not it—especially at the current price point. For what they’re charging now, it doesn’t really feel like “Quality.” Staff is hit or miss—about 50/50. Some are friendly and helpful, others seem like they’re just not having a great day.
