Quality Inn & Suites Frostburg-Cumberland

So first impression was a young front desk staff member that was there when we checked in, she didn't smile or make eye contact at all, so that was a little off-putting. She actually couldn't seem bothered that we were there at all! I will say the lady that was at the front desk the day we left is who I saw the most, and she was friendly and polite. We stayed 5 nights in 145. The room was musty and where the beds looked and felt okay the bathroom did a have a pubic hair on the side of the tub. (Not good first impression) The television worked, but after being on for a couple of minutes the picture went so dark that you could barely see what was going on. Front desk at check in was really weird. We hadn't realized we booked thru a third party site who charged us for a king jacuzzi room, which we had wanted, but apparently not instructed the front desk and we were given a regular king room. When we went back to the desk she not only wouldn't make eye contact but was very flat about there not being a solution and wasn't willing to change our room or otherwise make anything better. This would've been rude but made sense if we weren't literally one of three other vehicles in a basically empty lot that night. Worse yet we discovered stains on the pillowcases and walked them back to her to ask for new ones which she handed us to put on our pillows in front of her. Awful service, dirty room and not comfortable at all- old pillowcases with stains and a fitted sheet too small for a king bed. Were given cases to replace our pillowcases that were cleaner but old and dingy. Dirty surfaces and questionable need bugs. Will never return. Was a rip off.

Check in was easy, the rooms are dated and do need a refresh but it was clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable! Had a great nights sleep after being in the car for so long! Breakfast was good too!

The woman who checked me in was very nice and helpful. My room was clean, had a nice hot shower and a very comfortable bed. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful, I felt safe.
