Quality Inn & Suites Conference Center Statesboro Historic District

I strongly advise anyone thinking about staying at this hotel to reconsider. The hotel is completely false advertising compared to what is shown online. When I checked into my room, it was in terrible condition. The chair had visible holes in it, there were holes in the door, and the overall room looked very poorly maintained. On top of that, the room had a strong smell of smoke, which made the environment very uncomfortable and unpleasant. This was not the clean, quality stay that was advertised. When I brought these concerns to management and requested a refund, they refused to resolve the issue or take accountability for the condition of the room. We certainly enjoyed our stay and really extended it two more days to catch up with each other and to spend time with each other and to see the fireworks and enjoy the New Year's Day. Christy was our hostess and she was just perfect. You couldn't ask for a friendlier Kinder and gentler hostess. She went above and beyond any Call of Duty and you could tell she was stayed busy on things that probably weren't her responsibility but she did them anyway. Our room was extremely clean and very comfortable. The bedding and the mattress was all in perfect condition and I slept well. We needed the air conditioner and the heater while we were there and they both worked well. They had 24/7 coffee and I'm a coffee drinker and it was really good coffee especially when Christy made it. We had a nice brea

Terrible. Cockroaches on pillow, garbage behind tv, gross bathroom. People loitering all over the place. Rude front desk guy when I refused to stay there the rest of my time. He actually raised his voice at me. It was already 9 at night and this was my 2nd attempt at a hotel so I did stay one night but it was really uncomfortable knowing there were roaches on the pillow. NEVER again.

This was the worst property I have ever used. The staff didn't honor my request for an upper floor room, telling me the room they assigned is "A beautiful room". Not in my eyes. The ceiling was peeling, the toilet tissue holder was broken causing the roll to fall to the floor, there was no place to hang clothes, and the floor was dirty. The breakfast room was clean but had almost no food, no cream for coffee. A real disappointment since I have enjoyed many Quality Inns. This is definitely a Low Quality Inn.

I booked for one night for my family as we had an event to attend at Georgia University which is quite near to this property. However, I was extremely disappointed with the property itself - rooms were filthy - uncleaned - u couldn't walk barefoot in the rooms as floors were not cleaned properly. Seems they are ages old with no effort put in to renovate. Breakfast was a joke - sandwich maker was broken. Waffle mix was poorly done and waffles prepared with same were get stuck to the waffle maker leaving it unconsumable. Overall it was a disaster - luckily I was there only for a night and we moved out as quick as we could in the morning as this place was giving my family a uncomfortable feeling. To be avoided at any cost.
