Quality Inn & Suites Aiken South

I had the most uplifting stay at this hotel, arriving unexpectedly at the last minute, and the staff exceeded my expectations with their kindness, especially during my time of need. They graciously allowed me to check in early with my furry companion, showering both of us with warmth and hospitality. The beds were heavenly, providing the perfect sanctuary, while the shower was a cozy haven with water that radiated warmth. Breakfast was truly exceptional, with the bacon and sausage standing out, and the coffee was so divine that it revitalized my senses and awakened my spirit.

To fellow equestrians and any guests for that matter. Stay away from this place. I left this hotel around midnight because the bed was dirty. Stained sheets, different color hairs in the bed. I called Expedia since I booked the room through them, they said they would call the hotel on my behalf. They could not reach anyone. I went to the front desk and no one was there to help me. I left that night. Days later, Expedia said the hotel would not refund my weeks stay since I didn’t complain to them directly. Keep in mind it took Expedia two days to reach someone or talk with someone at the hotel. I reminded them that no one was there to complain to when I checked out. Positive: Nothing. We ended up staying the first night because we got in late...but had checked into a different hotel by 8am the next morning. Negative: Everything. I have pictures. The closet shelf for hanging clothes was broken off the wall. the TV didnt work. The bathtub was filty and drained extremely slow. The hotel was loud in the middle of the night. I knew I booked a 2.5 star...this was flea bag.

The hotel was extremely dirty. The first room I was given, the bathroom was dirty, including the tub had a dirt ring around the bottom. When I pulled back the blankets, there was a lot of hair on the sheets, including small curly ones. The girl at the front desk promptly gave me a new room. The manager on duty showed no interest in the condition of the room and dismissed me. The second room I stayed in also had a very dirty bathroom. The tub again was dirty with a ring at the bottom and loose dirt moved when I turned on the shower. After getting in the shower, I noticed the shower curtain had a lot of black mold on the bottom of the curtain to about 8 inches up the curtain. Easily the worst Quality Inn I have stayed out.

Very Disrespectful Management and Terrible Experience My stay at Quality Inn & Suites Aiken South was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We had a reservation from Tuesday until Friday, but on Wednesday, after 11 a.m., the staff removed all of our belongings from the room because of a mistake during a shift change. They thought we were supposed to check out that day, even though we had a confirmed booking until Friday. Among the items they took out was my prescription medication that needed refrigeration, and they left it outside of the fridge — which caused me to lose $800 worth of controlled medication. The management showed absolutely no empathy or responsibility for their mistake. The owner, who is extremely rude, only cares about money and has no respect for guests. W
