Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Aiken

Me and my group had a wonderful experience here at the Fairfield Marriott! The rooms are very clean the breakfast is great and the amenities are very nice! The gym has everything I need and is in excellent condition. The indoor pool was very clean!

This was not our first stay at this property for a night in Aiken. The location is good, 10-15 minutes from downtown and near all of the strip malls, national stores and a number of locally owned restaurants. |The front desk greeting was good and the room appeared to be fine for the night. However, a biker get together between this hotel and the neighboring Clarion motel turned into a loud party at 10:30 pm with amplified live music. I called downstairs and the front desk clerk (10/17/25) immediately gave us another room towards the back of the building, away from the noise. This was greatly appreciated and we then had a comfortable night's sleep. |The only issue at all was the grout in the first room (233) shower was showing some areas that were turning black. |Thank you for another good

Everyone we came in contact with was super nice and welcoming. I especially appreciated the kind, hard working woman who maintained the breakfast area. She was a pleasure to be around first thing in the morning. Breakfast was delicious, and I was surprised with it being a fresh, hot breakfast. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The indoor pool was a nice addition for a winter visit. The pool area did get really warm, and the pool was somewhat small. But we enjoyed it! We really enjoyed our stay!

I booked this hotel for an employee. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were sort of run-down and didn't seem very clean. However, the property location didn't feel safe at all: often the parking lot was completely empty at times when it should be busy. When he arrived there was a group of kids driving around recklessly in a golf cart, and when he came back in the evening there was a party happening...? Across the street is a very nice neighborhood, so this was surprising. The parking lot felt very unsafe and since our employees have expensive tools, unfortunately it's not a hotel that we can book again when we come back due to the safety concerns.

Overall a good hotel/ location. However, the staff and manager is the rudest I have ever encountered out of any hotel brand. So much so that it has made me and my colleagues boycott this property and other Marriott properties, which is a shame because we are all avid travelers for work.
