Quality Inn Petersburg Fort Lee Area

Don’t stay here. I have stayed at alot of motels including cheap budget friendly ones. This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. I was given a room whose heater did not work, plus it had a very strong weed stench. When I asked the manager to either fix the issue or give me another room he started misbehaving and acting as if I was lying. His whole demeanor was as if I was staying in the motel for free. Although I had booked in advance and paid in full. Then he gave me the new room’s key by throwing the room key at me and walking away. The new room’s heater worked but the stench of weed was still there. Plus the bathroom’s light didn’t work. Also when I attempted to take a bath in the morning the water smelled extremely bad. The pricing is very good and the bed and bed linens can't be beat, but the rooms are in bad need of renovating/updating. The white towels are grey. I really wish they could make the rooms feel cleaner. We usually stay twice each year - heading south in October and then heading north in March and we will likely continue to do so. We have been staying here almost 10 years. We like Mama Rita's (formerly Lighthouse Restaurant) next door. Will was working when we arrived and he is great to deal with - super friendly and helpful (he usually works over night) so we were pleasantly surprised to see him.

I have stayed here in the past and travel through the area frequently, usually alone.. the good, the bed was comfortable king size..there were four smaller pillows on the bed..would prefer the larger pillows to go with the big bed, the property has a pool but it was raining during my stay. the pool looked clean and maintained...now the bad,.. the room I stayed in had dirty floors that turned my socks filthy. there was actually dirt on the vinyl floor when I walked on the floor after my shower I could feel the dirt sticking to my feet..back to wearing socks.. the shower like most motels was older and of course drained slowly , leaving me ankle deep in water... there was NO shampoo in the dispenser. not even a drop so it was clearly not even checked, the tub and toilet were both stained and

Roaches in room not clean burn marks all over bathtub blankets look like they haven't been washed. Room didn't have enough light light bulbs were burnt out. Very disappointed for a quality inn.

Possibly the most disgusting/dirty/filthy room I've ever had the displeasure of having to stay in. We had to clean EVERYTHING from top to bottom before we could bring anything into the room. If you're asking why we stayed...it was due to being extremely fatigued after being on the road for over 12 hours. The free breakfast was in a room that had dim flashing lights and the cashier just said sorry. Her response to how dirty our room was non-acknowledgeable. We left as soon as we could. Absolutely disgusting. I will be reaching out for a refund but I'm sure I will not be getting one.
