WoodSpring Suites Petersburg near Fort Lee

I quite agree with the previous post. This hotel is new but not the one I expected as good. It took an hour for them to book me. Staff seems to not know what they are doing. One staff seems rude to my one simple request. And yes, again the previous poster is correct, bed as hard as a rock. And the pedestal that the bed sits is a cheaply made one. (See pics). Water on main faucet in the bathroom flows super sluggish. The chair super light and cheap. It's funny when you move in your bed, you bed slighly moves also proving my point of things are cheaply made inside the room. As soon as I enter I can easily see the difference from the nearby hotel and this one. You can hear the people talking outside and other visitors coming. Brand new hotel. Very clean. Beds hard as a block of concrete. Front desk staff seemed very confused, not really sure what they were doing. My credit card was charged 3 times for a 1 night stay. That got resolved. We had a dog with us and we understood there would be a pet fee of $50. They charged the credit card but later said that charge didn't go through so they would charge the card again. I ended up with 2 charges on my credit card for the fee. When I called the hotel to inquire about it they said the second charge was for 2 missing pillows. They said no one else had access to the room but how do they know that the person cleaning the room didn't miss count the number of pillows or missplace them? From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted warmly, and everyone was exceptionally polite. This new extended-stay hotel boasts impeccably clean rooms and pristine showers. Its convenient location puts me just minutes away from Walmart and nearby dining options. I’ll definitely choose to stay here again whenever I visit town. There is also a car wash next door.

The WORST experience i have ever had. It started off with the rooms looking like they caught an amazon special. They claimed to have a full kitchen.. a stove that was confusing to turn on. 30$ for pots pans and cutlery but you take home.. 4 towels.. any towel exchange is a $1.50. The laundry room $3. No pool The fitness room.. absolutely a side closet room. We were there under a snow advisory.. no salt along the walk ways. No shoveling occured to safely get inside the building.. on their site they say coffee is against 24/7... however management said coffee is only available from 6 to 11am... on the site it says pet friendly however.
