Quality Inn Ormond Beach - Daytona

I had one of my best hotel stays ever — a peaceful night with a cozy room, exceptional service, and the kind of comfort that makes you forget you’re away from home. Truly a memorable experience.

Newly remodeled. So rooms are nice especially for the low rate. Less than $80 Only complaint is I dont believe the brand new floors were ever cleaned after remodel, so that needs to be done.

Not as clean as it appears online. Staff doesn't know anything about food safety and did not refirdgerate the half and half and served it sour. The best part of this hotel was the night clerk with the blue hair. She was very nice and friendly. I hope one day she finds a job working somewhere that's as nice inside and out as she is.

TLDR: NOT recommended. Where to start with this place. I came in on a race weekend and had very little choice on hotels. The room extremely rate was high for the accomodations, $160/night. There were signs that some painting had been done but this is probably the second worst hotel that I've ever stayed in. Pros: no bed bugs and sealed mattress. Cons: my back was completely screwed up after sleeping in this bed for one night. The mattress was supported by a metal spring frame like you would find in a pullout bed. The spring frame was placed on a metal box such that it sounded like a kettle drum anytime you moved. There was damage to the bathroom ceiling with what appeared to be black mold. To say this place is dirty is an understament. It was so filthy we would not walk barefoot in the room. When I took a shower I slid the bath towel beneath my feet to a chair 6 feet away. The towel was filthy brown. The whole place smelled curry. All 3 floors! Not to mention family lives there so playing I. The hallway. What? Really?? Only go as a very lasy choice.
