Quality Inn North Platte

We have Platinum at Marriott but the only Marriott hotel nearby (Fairfield) is twice the price of everything else, so we decided to give this place a try. We are very happy with our decision! The staff were pleasant, our room was clean, bedding soft, water hot and good pressure, and the breakfast is pretty good too! Everything from the scrambled egg to the biscuit and gravy were properly heated and not dried out. Plenty of carb options to choose from too. It was $70 well saved and Marriott needs to take note!

The staff was so friendly. The rooms were clean. Beds comfortable and breakfast was really good. It is a little outdated but for the price you can beat it. We will stay here again ! I really enjoyed walking over to the veterans memorial at sunrise with a cup of coffee and paying my respects.

Although this was obviously the oldest motel property we stayed at on our recent trip, it was clearly the best managed. Our room was simple, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty much standard Choice. The desk staff were pleasant and efficient. And for a basic one-night "road stay" it was a great deal. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

It was great for traveling with my dog, we didn't require fancy, and the continental breakfast was very satisfying and saved me some road time. We stayed on our way to and from a destination, and the room was right by the hall exit that allowed me to walk my dog to and from the park. The only reason I don't give a higher score is the unfriendliness of the woman who checked me in. On my second visit, she couldn't hang up from her social call and didn't give me any information, i.e., time of continental breakfast or that there even was one. Luckily, I remembered from my previous visit. She was insistent and said several times, "ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IN THE ROOM." We stayed here for a quick overnight rest. Despite having a pool and a small gym, a quick overnight is all I would recommend. The rooms and hotel are very dated and in need of repair. When I arrived to check in the woman behind the counter was having a very heated conversation with a customer wanting to cancel his reservation and get a refund. The argument continued for quite a while. No other associate came to assist, so I had to listen to the dispute. Even after the customer left, the woman behind the counter continued to speak negatively about him to me instead of checking me in. We got to our room and it was relatively clean. The freezer had a lot of frost built up and there was a big gap under our door which allowed alot of noise to filter into our room. Pros: Great location r
