Motel 6 North Platte, NE - East

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times now as a midpoint on long roadtrips for the holidays. This is one of the nicest and more modern Motel 6's we've stayed at, so it's our go to stop when traveling this route. The rooms are simple and cheap, which makes it perfect for our travel purposes. We love that it is dog friendly. The front doors are cool because they open automatically with a slight tug, which makes carrying in luggage easier. The rooms are usually fairly clean.

We had an overnight here on the way to and home from Denver. This is a very basic, but clean, hotel. No shampoo, skimpy towels, some very weak, warm coffee in the morning, but nothing else. They have a microwave but no napkins or plastic utensils for you to use with your own food. Some high priced vending machines in the lobby with mummified stuff in there. Overall, this is a quick and inexpensive sleep, but please do not expect anything else. Also be prepared for a $75 additional hold on your credit card. That will be released a day after you check out if you didn’t roll in your room. This is not a huge deal if you’re using a credit card but if you plan to use cash or a debit card or a low on funds, it could be a dealbreaker. This hotel is super clean. Very kind staff and cozy. Very good to pets. I will be staying here again, very happy and this location is very quiet at this location. A local lil bus company will come get you if you’re need of a ride to go anywhere that’s also very affordable. You have a few great restaurants near by and a gas station. But a very quiet location is a plus to get good night sleep!!!

This was a great place to stay half way on our move across states with our dog for an evening! The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us just passing through and the price was affordable. We will definitely be staying here again when we need to make long road trips with our dog!
