Quality Inn Midvale - Salt Lake City South

We are frequent guests at the Quality Inn in Midvale Ut we truly enjoy staying there it's very clean and the staff is very polite and helpful . There is one person that does actually go above and beyond however his name is Sam he works the front desk and he saved us from having to check out when I booked our stay for the incorrect date . I called the company I booked. Thru and everything and no one could help me. We let him know the situation and before I could even get back to the front desk he had fixed the dates in the reservation so we didn't have to pack up and leave and have to try to come up with the extra money which we did not have for a new reservation to be able to stay . So I would like to give him unlimited stars for his quick and amazing efforts on getting this done for us so

Room was clean. Water connections were reversed oddly. And it was a big group of homeless ppl standing in the parking lot in the rain all night. Even by the doors. Had to blow my horn at them to get them to move so I could park my truck.

Positive: Price is fair for this time of the year so far. That it's pretty much quiet compared to others around the area. Also staff respects privacy. Negative: The jacuzzi is not being available. Out of order sign says but I believe it will not be maintained anytime in the near future for use.

I would absolutely veer away from staying at this location unless you are desperate for a place for the night because they are absolutely ridiculous. You cannot have breakfast from you. Can't have breakfast in your room and if they find it in your garbage they charge your deposit. It's the most ridiculous micromanaging every little thing when you rent a room. And it comes with complimentary breakfast yo step back. Don't micromanage if somebody wants to take a banana and yogurt to the room back off. Who peed in your Cheerios and then charged you for throwing it out?🥺😕😏
