Quality Inn Marquette

We've stayed at this location several times - most recently due to my mother's medical tests and surgery at a local hospital. Our room is always clean and quiet. The breakfast is great. Staff is friendly and accommodating to our needs.

Not a very clean hotel. Surface is mostly appears clean, but the deep clean is not there, nor is a clean smell. I have health issues where I have to be very careful of rooms I stay in, so I asked if I could view the room before we stayed and they would not let me. I have never been told that by a person before. At 2:30 am, the mold smell (only detectable by a person with mold issues) appeared and my health started getting affected, so we grabbed our things and were checked out by 3:30 am. The front desk person left a note for the manager to contact me; she never did. I called the next day, manager didn't work wkends. I called again 2 days later and left a message; manager never called back. I called 12 days later, and was told to leave a message or send an email to manager. I

My family was traveling during one of the largest snow storms in 10 years in Marquette. This hotel was loaded with locals that were out of power. The staff was fabulous. They were kind and made sure everyone was taken care of. I can not express how hard they worked. The ladies at the front desk were amazing. I will be staying again on my next trip.

I found this hotel last minute online it was easy to book. I thought the hotel was adequate for my needs. There was a side door. We were directed to use. It didn’t have a locking mechanism. I didn’t eat any of the food. My girlfriend did. She said it was fine I thought the staff was extremely nice and helpful and courteous. I was a little confused on. Why on my final bill, my taxes went up. I sent an email. I haven’t gotten a response. I thought the room was clean. The bed and pillows were nice. Had issues with the shower. Lack of water pressure just looked old Beat up.

Overall, good value, nice clean room, comfortable mattress, standard breakfast bar was adequate. The only negative is the jet pump for the Jacuzzi was not functioning properly and the Jacuzzi would only turn on for a matter of seconds I needed a long time in between to even do that.
