Quality Inn Lewiston

Our room was clean, and the front desk person was friendly, and the breakfast was fine, but we chose the hotel for the indoor pool and were surprised to learn it was unheated. We went in the hot tub instead, but the whole room was cold and smelled like mold. Also, the beds were much too soft.

This is a good choice. It's hidden from the public, in a quiet place. One of the women at the desk was very nice and helpful. There is an ice machine, breakfast, drinks, hot tub and pool. There is a coin operated laundry washer and dryer and a laundromat across the street on 21st street. There are 2 luggage carts. The room i was in had a refrigerator, TV, and microwave, bathroom tub, hot shower, sink, toilet, and two beds. It is lit by 3-4 lamps, and one ceiling light in the doorway. The heating in the room is good in the cold weather. I didn't try the air conditioner in the cold. There is no elevator but only 2 stories. Very disappointed to check in for our 3 night stay & find out the pool and hot tub are NOT AVAILABLE. Hotel needs better care and/updating. Furniture is visibly worn out. Fridge in room has a freezer section that was unusable due to frost buildup that covered 90% of the space.

Definitely nothing fancy. You get what you pay for. came to a motel for a relaxation night to swim . Pool is ice cold. Was told the heater is out by some kids in the hot tub. Sounds like an ongoing issue according to reviews as far back as May. Funny, the gal at check in asked what brought us to town and I told her a fun night to swim. She never mentioned the pool being ice cold. Cleanliness is so so. Never heard of a motel not having an elevator!! Hubby is 70 with a broken tail bone so climbing stairs is hard for him. Had I known these things we would have stayed elsewhere!!

Positive: Location, quiet Negative: Room did not feel clean, sink was plugged up, carpet is dirty and sticky, bathtub was questionable, soft spots in bathroom floor
