Hampton Inn Lewiston

We stayed here for a couple of nights and were absolutely blown away! The hotel is tucked away in a very peaceful and scenic location the views of the hills and the river are stunning and really set a relaxing tone for the trip. The rooms were spotless, and the beds were so comfortable that it was genuinely hard to get up in the morning. The service was definitely the highlight for us. The front desk staff treated us like family, making the check-in process seamless and helping us with our luggage. While the breakfast is your classic Hampton spread, everything was fresh and hot, and the waffles were a total hit. If you’re looking for a cozy, quiet spot in Lewiston with top-notch service, this place is a true gem.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Lewiston over Thanksgiving weekend 2025. The location is great -- close to shopping, restaurants and the local movie theater. Employees are friendly and helpful. Rooms are average size, clean and well cared for. Parking is convenient and readily available and the facility is extremely quiet even though the hotel appeared to be fairly full. Breakfast was typical for a buffet -- eggs, cereals, yogurt, juice, muffins, toast and scones. We would definitely consider staying at the Hampton Inn again.

Positive: Location is good and the stay was family friendly. Negative: Other guests kids were to rough in the pool. On our second morning things were unavailable/out of stock at breakfast such as dried berries for oatmeal or chocolate sauce for waffles.

Rooms were decent. I liked the layout. The bed was cheap. That part I didn’t like. I expect more than bottom of the barrel mattresses with Hilton. The thing that got me however was that there was a large group of hockey players staying there. They had an absolute ton of children. Some of the rudest people I’ve met. They allowed their children to run up and down the hallways all day and all night. The geniuses are the hotel decided to put the whole group on the third floor so that everyone from the first to the 4th had to listen to the stomping and yelling. No attempt from the staff to quiet them down, even after speaking to the staff. Tried getting breakfast the next day. Same continued chaos. Children running and screaming everywhere. I’ve stayed at this Hampton multiple times and have previously reported carpet beetle activity in the rooms. I trusted it was handled, but during my most recent stay, I began experiencing itching from what looked like bug bites. Subsequently, I discovered the mattress seams were covered with debris — hair, toenail clippings, crumbs, several live carpet beetle larvae, and another unidentified bug. Front desk staff moved me to another room on another floor, which was in the same unsanitary and filthy condition under the mattress. I checked out immediately. Management later offered a generic apology and 10,000 points, only after I reached out myself. They didn't reply to my follow up email when I explained this is a health and sanitation issue, not an inconvenience. The lack of response is
