Holiday Inn Express Lewiston by IHG

My family stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for 3 days and 3 nights. When we first arrived at the hotel, it was midnight and the young man at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. It was a long drive, and we could not wait to get to our room. We walked into our room and noticed right away how nice and roomy it was, and it was very classy. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We woke up early to go to breakfast and the breakfast was excellent. There was such a wonderful selection, and I will say that coffee was the best!! The hotel was very clean inside and outside. There were other sports teams staying at this same hotel, and it was nice seeing the guests sitting in the front lounge area visiting and talking. Everyone was comfortable. Positive: the view after we got upgraded Negative: Our room was not cleaned and was the 2nd room that day that had been marked clean by housekeeping but was not. they had no other rooms close by so they moved us to the upper floor with a view. The view was nice not worth of hotel rate. breakfast was meh.

Stayed here a night before a hockey game for my kid. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a pool the 6 year old could appreciate. A great place to stay in Lewiston

Front desk help was great. No coffee maker in room and there's an elevated price for breakfast. Which was the worst I've ever seen at any holiday inn. Understocked and broken equipment. Old gravy from day before. Out of several items and the person running it was just sitting doing nothing. When asked about it, it was like they didn't know where they were.

Dogs barking all night, kids running up amd down the halls till after midnight, asked the front desk lady to please do something but she just sat in the lobby with her boyfriend I stead of doing her job.half of the breakfast items were either not working g or looked so disgusting I wouldn't feed it to my dog. Avoid this hotel at all costs unless you have a noisy dogs or kids that do t want to go to bed
