Quality Inn Joplin I-44

Average to below average hotel. Well located on highway for travelers. Clean enough, but worn. Our king room was small; no sofa. Have a dark green cover over the bed; all white is preferred. Breakfast was ok, had fruit but no meat with the eggs. Fine for a night on the road and for being a budget hotel.

I was really disappointed with my stay here at the quality Inn being a frequent traveler across many states for business I have stayed at many other quality inns, and this one was a disappointment. First, let’s talk about the room yes it’s very clean. Therefore, you get three stars (which is really generous in my opinion) however the windows are outdated and it’s very drafty. I had to tuck the curtains to block some of the wind from last night. There’s no hot water even at the time last night or even this morning when I woke up so I had to take a nice ice cold shower that was really relaxing . 😞. The location is so so. I had reservations and the girl put me way down the hall on the third floor. The pictures online are a misrepresentation of what the room actually looks like you get a

I walked in to rent a room and have never been treated so rude in my life. The advertised price is NOT the price. When I questioned it I was met with an I don't care about you attitude. This guy was quite the customer service problem. I felt like he was saying. No soup for you!!! We are going elsewhere.

We had a non working toilet. It wouldn't flush and the water ran all the time. They called the maintenance man to fix it. He had already worked on it that morning. The clerk messed with it and when the maintenance man came it worked. He couldn't find anything wrong and it flushed for him. He joked that maybe I didn't know how to work it. We went our to dinner and came back and it wasn't working again. I called and left a message at the front desk and never heard back. We gave up and went to bed. We worried it would overflow that night and the water in it ran all night. The next morning, a very nasty clerk--I didn't get her name was on duty. She had to come down and inspect it to be sure it wasn't working. All this almost caused me to be late to my meeting which was the reason for our stay.

I've stayed here many times for business. Always a great night's rest. Clean. New. Efficient. Heather at the front desk is exceptionally helpful when checking in, etc. Thank you for a good night's rest.
