Fairfield Inn Joplin

Great stay. They were able to accommodate us even though we accidentally booked for the wrong weekend. They kindly put us on the first floor since I was on crutches. The room was clean and breakfast was basic but good. The pool, while cold, was great for my kids and the open hours were perfect. The only small things would be to get better pillows or at least a more firm option of the two and in our room, the seal about the door needed fixing as there was a large gap around the door that let in light and sounds. I'd stay here again.

We stay here every time we're in joplin. I think it's time for some renovation to the rooms. This particular time I have to give a shout out to Ashley Horton, the day clerk. Always cheery, Always willing to give us our extra coffee for our room. And we love their breakfast!

I feel like several of the reviews are fake, because this place is a smelly dump. Rooms are basic, lots of traffic noise, elevator smells like it’s on fire, everything else smells like a cleaning product storage area, and the pool is closed. Front desk lady was very nice. I would not recommend this hotel at all!

Positive: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect right off the hwy with restaurants and gas stations. Negative: The room was clean for the most part, I did find an empty water bottle under the chair in the room and it wasn?t mine, but that is me being picky.

They actually honor late check out with no issues, which many other Marriott locations do not, or they fight you about it. I checked in late and there were no issues there either.
