Drury Inn & Suites Joplin

This was the visit that turned me onto Drury hotels. The beds were luxurious, the dinner decent (cafeteria style means it has to cater to everyone so a little bland, but it was filling, warm and comforting - my stay had meatballs and mashed potatoes). And three complimentary drinks per guest? Who could ask for more? It was only a bit more than the usual budget pet friendly hotel I use, and that made it infinitely worth it.

Easy access off highway yet room was very quiet. Room and common areas very clean and well maintained. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Evening food/drinks are such a nice touch as well as a great breakfast.

Great location, convenient on/off highway. Near plenty of restaurants and shopping. Beautifully decorated with a nice breakfast. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower large with great water pressure. Super clean and quiet. Best hotel we've stayed in over our 12 day trip. Will definitely stay at Drury Inns again.

Everything was great! The staff was friendly and smiling. The vibe was relaxed. The room was clean and comfortable. The included dinner and drinks were higher quality than I would expect in this setting. There were multiple choices each night. There was a fountain Coca Cola machine in the dining area. Also, fresh popcorn. It tasted good and I enjoy the smell. The location was convenient and I felt safe. If for some reason you don’t want to eat at the hotel there are several other choices nearby. I forgot to bring a swim suit but the pool area appeared clean too. The WiFi worked without any lag. Overall very impressed! Great value!

Positive: breakfast, manager's reception, and bar were well staffed; and each were friendly Negative: current remodeling & updating creating such a mess. The pool area was littered with small pieces of cement; dangerous to walk on, dangerous plumbing issues for any transferred into the pool/hot tub. Throughout the bldg carpet - construction mess!
