Quality Inn I-70 Near Kansas Speedway

Checking out from Quality inn now. Had a great stay here. The staff was so friendly and attentive. Thank you Akhil for making my process smooth. Also, a big thank you for the house keeping latinas ladies, super friendly and had a good vibe. My huskey loved it here too lol! 10/10 :)

I made the reservation thu the 800 number just minutes before arriving. We were expecting to have a pool as confirmed with the reservationist. Upon arrival we see that the pool has been closed for a while. We asked about it, feel like we got an answer that was vague and untrue. Also when we opened the door to our room we were hit with cigarette smoke. The desk clerk was with us we had an issue with the key. He seemed unconcerned about it and was expecting us to take the room anyway. We refused to even walk into the room.

The lamps in our room were filthy. Bathroom wasn't the cleanest either. Toilet paper holder was not installed properly. Orange juice was brown & tasted like crap. This motel seemed to be going downhill since our last stay?

Positive: The hotel offers breakfast and the staff are very polite. Location is idea for me. I love the hot tubs within the room that was selected. Negative: The one thing I didnt like and was kinda stomach turning was the smell of the room. I had never had any issues in the past with that issue.

Our stay was an emergency, as we were on our way to pick up our ailing aunt, so that we could bring her back to Texas where we could take of her. We drove last minute, as it was an emergency situation, my mind was elsewhere and I didn’t make a reservation. It was 3:30am when we arrived. Quality Inn was the ONLY hotel that would accept us at the time. Everyone else told us we’d have to check AFTER 3pm. We were exhausted and needed sleep and Quality Inn Provided. Thank You
