Quality Inn Fresno Near University

I was disappointed with several aspects of the place. The lobby had very little furniture in it. There were no vending machines and there was no computer for customer use. The breakfast selections were very poor. Only white bread most of the week. No bagels, English muffins, danish or muffins. There was some fruit but it was getting soft. There were granola bars I think 2 of the 7 days I stayed there. Once in my room, there wasn’t a toilet paper holder for the roll, the door latch was coming unscrewed from the wall, the hair dried had been pulled out of the wall and the tub’s surface was cracked.

We reserved a non-smoking room with king bed - when we arrived, they said they had no more non-smoking rooms with king beds, they had rooms with 2 double beds but it would cost more. It’s loud outside. Sketchy people hanging around on the premise. They wouldn’t do a refund so we couldn’t go elsewhere. We literally just slept and left. The rooms are ugly. Chair had burn marks.

We were worried about where we were going to park the cargo trailer we were towing when we saw the tight parking lot. The girl at check in was really sweet and offered to move her own car to accommodate our trailer right outside the front door. The motel was located near a college and surrounded by medical buildings. We felt very safe at this motel and did not see any transients in the area. Our room was very clean with all of the amenities: frig, microwave, coffee maker, hot shower and cold AC. We had trouble getting the TV turned on, but again, the girl at the front desk was helpful and easily walked us through it. We had a very quiet night's sleep. Since covid began, we've not been to many motels offering breakfast, so we were pleased to find the breakfast room open with typical fare li

The Room in general had issues. Tolite was lose, really lose, it wobbles. Handicap shower had a hand wand to use, but the bracket on it to place it up high was missing. My wife said the sheets had a sent or odor of cologne. Very werd and uncomfortable to here. I smelled something similar, but couldn't tell what it was. My wife doesn't care to stay there again. Coffee machine was in the bathroom. I've never seen that before. Did not use due to location. Breakfast was ok. Limited but acceptable.

No body wash or hair conditioner. Restroom tub and sink peeling. Not a lot in breakfast to choose from very little. Website said full hotel was empty!
