Quality Inn Broken Arrow - Tulsa

Did not meet my expectations for a Choice Hotel. However, good value for the dollar spent. Economy hotel. Should not advertise free breakfast if all you have is waffles and cereal. Lock on hall way door was broken. Clean room but bathroom smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. I turned on the fan and used the deordorizer that I brought with me. If you are there for one night like I was, it is good value for the dollar at an economy hotel.

Positive: It was fine for the cost and our needs. We were juat passing through, so just needed a cheap bed and a shower. Negative: It wasn't as clean as could be, especially the hallways and stairwell. Could use some maintenance. It's my understanding that they cater to longer stay construction workers, so I'd imagine it'd be too pricey to keep up on that.

Truck broke down and we had to stay in Tulsa - chose this hotel because they accept our 2 service dogs. Half the people we saw in the hallways had unleashed roaming dogs with them. No big deal to us as we are dog people. The people that own the hotel are NOT dog people at all. They charged $100 deposit that I'm still trying to get back. We cleaned the room we provided our own toilet paper . Housekeeping tried to take our dirty towels and I had to insist she give me the correct number of towels back . She tried to short me!! She counting towels and so was I!! We are not thief's and want our deposit back!!! Our first day there house keeping came in and cleaned our room with us in there. She barged her way in speaking non english and cleaned around us. We didn't need it we just got there.

Overall, the stay was not bad. Staff was friendly and attentive. Stayed on the third floor, and upon entering was welcomed by this lovely bug. It definitely gave me the yuck but I was able to get it out of the room after a few tries and never saw another one throughout the stay. I hear they’re hard-ish to get rid of so I try to give the benefit of the doubt. The room was decently clean, but could be better in the bathroom. However I’m not one to harp to much for the price of the room. Breakfast was busy and we had to wait in line for the waffle maker but it was great after getting our plates all made up. For the price and overall experience, I’d recommend to anyone who is staying for a short period of time and trying to save money.

Here's my impressions as they occurred ... The evening desk staff wasn't friendly. The documents I was asked to sign on a tablet were full of typographical errors. The hallway to my room reeked of cigarette smoke. The room had lots of pet hair in the carpet and on the bed's dust ruffle. Repairs to the bathroom door and walls look very cobbled together. The bathtub fixtures are corroded. Someone went down the hallway at 6:30am repeatedly knocking on doors, disturbing my sleep. The complimentary breakfast had very limited choices and was very unimpressive. The morning desk staff at check-out wasn't friendly or professional. The one thing that saves this hotel from a lower rating was their cost, which was somewhat lower than other hotels in the area.
