Homewood Suites by Hilton Tulsa-South

The bed closest to the bathroom in room 314 had at least one bed bug. The front desk apologized but also said they would need to verify it being true before doing anything about it even though I brought them the bug we found and showed them the bites on my daughter. Hotel seems like it will be nice eventually but it certainly isn't there yet.

This property is undergoing BADLY needed renovations. Troubling is that they are selling rooms that are in renovation. On arrival, our reservation confirmed direct with the hotel, was not honored. Despite showing our confirmation number, the name of the staffer who took our reservation, we were told that no adjoining rooms were available. We were given room 407 after a conversation with the night host, who was the only positive this property had. Our room was recently painted but 20 year old rotted, gold curtains are still used for window coverings. There was absolutely no wall art. Dirty floors in the bathroom. Old and yellowed shower curtain. Kitchen was dirty. Sink was not cleaned. Paper towels were missing. We did not dare use any kitchen utensils. The bottom drawer of the

I enjoyed my week-long stay. The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly, the location was convenient and I really enjoyed the Wednesday night social hour. The breakfast was good but it would have been nice to have different main dish selections throughout the week. I overall enjoyed my stay but it was highly disappointing at checkout when I found out my card was charged $100.05 and $80.05 by mistake. One of the amounts was refunded in about 3 days but one I'm still waiting to hear a response on and my deposit for incidentals hasn't been returned as well. This was very disappointing and inconvenient.

My wife drove an hour and a half one way to go to a two day conference. When she got to her room, she immediately undressed the bed, and lo and behold, there was an adult bedbug right in the middle of the mattress. When confronted they offered to move her floors. It wasn't until she called me saying she didn't feel like she wanted to stay that I picked up the phone. After asking for the manager on duty, I was told "We have no manager on duty right now." It took me demanding that she be reimbursed for the room she would no longer be staying at. I was told "We are super busy right now, we are trying to keep up with everything." It wasn't until I asked if bedbugs were a normal thing here, that he offered to refund the room right then. Hiltons are usually safe, even the economic ones. Not this

Decent hotel accommodations on the SE edge of Tulsa (Broken Arrow address). We did see a little bit of dust and mess from on-going property renovations but nothing significant. Room seemed like they had half-way completed a refresh-update because some furniture and fixures seemed new and others were dingy old. Breakfast was adequate and in line with standard fare at other Homewoods. Understaffed front desk due to the holiday was expected but no answer after multiple calls down as we were missing 1) trash can in the kitchenette 2) the sheet/blanket kit for the sofa-bed, so had to go down in person to request.||NOTE: The hotel entrance onto Madison off Garnett has a large (unlit) entrance sign placed awkwardly dividing up the middle of the driveway that I almost hit on a couple of occasions
