Quality Inn Athens

I try to stay here when in Athens due to its easy access to OU campus. Haven't been in a couple of years and I have to say I was very disappointed. The jacuzzi tub was not working properly and the person who eventually came to check it had no idea what he was doing. The front desk person upon check in, although very nice, smelled like he had ran a marathon 2 days ago and still had not showered. I will say all of the staff is very nice. But if you're paying extra for an added amenity you should get what you pay for. The room was clean but the hot tub and the pool area was disgustingly dirty.

This place feel like an extension from Home, the place is being updated and is in the catalyst state of feeling balanced between a warm welcome and a organized family oriented home away from home. The pool is a nice touch for families that have a group that doesn't want to be cooped up watching t.v in the rooms even tho I wills say the beds are quite comfy compared to most inns I've stayed at. Over all I can say it's a good choice if you're undecided on a place to stay. 8 out of 10 checks for me! And an "8" in my book is perfect for the occasion.

The newly remodeled rooms were very nice. Our room (king-size bed) was clean and spacious. The bathroom area was pretty small but served its purpose. The front desk guy was very friendly and accommodating. Close to OU campus which was convenient. The indoor pool area was pretty nice too.

Positive: The Hot tub was great that's it the night guy work was terrible my Husband tripped on the broken tile in our hallway the guy said nothing he can do About it.. truck caught fire in lot they ran buckets out never called fire department this place is a mess Negative: The filthy toilet in our room the dirty floors the filthy bathroom inpool area the night staff was aweful

Stayed here for one night, so my daughter could take a tour of Ohio University. Room was nice, and the staff was very courteous. The hot breakfast the morning of the tour really helped both my daughter and I get ready for.the day. I will probably.stay here again in the future if she chooses to go to the university.
