Highlander Motel

The lady that works at the front desk has the absolute worst customer service skills I have ever seen. (The younger one) She is very, very rude. I will NEVER go back there and if you are any other race than whatever they are, I suggest you don't either. I don't know what hear deal is but she needs to learn how to treat paying customers. I doubt they will be in business too much longer anyway if she continues to work there and run things.

This is an older property, and the room seemed reasonably, but not exceptionally clean. Some things like the sink and faucets appeared to have been replaced, but at the same time, the caulking and finishing were pretty poor condition. The bed was ok. This is another case of you get what you pay for ($55+). There were some nice flowers in pots and some landscaping around the property.

Stayed here a night after the WVU vs OU football game. Room looks remodeled, nice and clean. Friendly staff at the office. Reasonable price. Very close to Peden stadium.

I thought the couple running this motel were sweet, kind and very considerate. I made a few trips to ask for extra towels cups and such and they were so accommodating. Motel is a little outdated but quite clean and comfortable and if you just need a cheap sleep this certainly fits the bill. This is my new go to motel for staying in Athens. Definetly stay here again!

You get what you pay for. Clean bedding. Beds are a bit older and vary by room. Cosmetic repairs are needed but not a show stopper for me at least. Shower... water pressure varies by room but you are getting clean. Service has always been great! Will definitely book again.
