Quality Inn and Conference Center

I am giving my honest review of my stay. Most staff were friendly and helpful. We had to ask for service, no one came for 3 days to give us any towels or take trash. We had to ask for their service. The place has a stench in the hall ways. The refrigerator does NOT get cold, even when turned to the coldest setting. The breakfast was ok but is NOT diabetic friendly. It is mostly sugar products. No meat or anything freshly made, besides the waffles you make yourself. Overall it was not terrible, just sub par for a Quality Inn.

I stayed at Quality Inn & Conference Center in Richmond, Indiana, and I had a great experience. This location is very truck-driver friendly, with about 20 parking spaces for trucks, which is a huge plus. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The manager, J, went above and beyond. He truly cared, treated me with respect as a truck driver, and personally made sure I could come back anytime to park my truck. He even offered me a discounted rate, which I really appreciated. We had a long conversation, and he was genuinely kind, professional, and welcoming. It’s rare to find management that treats drivers this well. I highly recommend this hotel to any truck driver or traveler passing through Richmond, IN. I will definitely stay here again.

Few minor repairs needed in our room, hole in the wall and curtain valance needed put back up and floor not very well vacuumed. Only 1 wash cloth & 1 hand towel was in the room. Reservation was for 2 people. Linens were clean & crisp! Overall room was clean.

To start, the parking lot is sketchy at night. But I could have delt with that, but then you add the front desk lady, absolute nightmare. I needed a quiet space to study for my midterm, but this lady, who refused to say what her name was, large, old white lady. She treated me like complete garbage for no reason. Oh, I slept in past 11, but paid and would have paid for a couple more nights but the front desk woman...pushed me to go elsewhere. She's lucky I didn't press charges, crackhead, yes crackhead is what this old lady said to me. And the day before, she put a sign out that said she was with othet guests....for 2 hrs. So I sat there because the card I had wasn't working so I got locked out of my room for the entire time. The lady is a danger to the public, I wish i got her on camera. T

I've stayed here lots of times and have had pretty good experiences. The staff treats you like family my heat went out and the owner immediately moved me. Lots of food places located closely and rite off the highway. The rooms are clean and it's a truly quiet place to stay.
