Cozy Garden Inn By OYO Hwy 40 Richmond

The staff here is very friendly, but the rooms cost more than what was listed online. My boyfriend and I paid $73 for one night. The room was mostly clean, but the towels and bedsheets had stains. The walls had mismatched paint, and there was even a bullet hole in the window from the inside. Part of the floor was damaged, and the shower head definitely needs to be replaced. The TV worked, but the screen was blurry. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, but we ended up rating the room 3 stars—until we saw a roach run across the floor in the middle of the night, which made the room feel dirty. Overall, it’s not worth $73. It feels more like a $40-a-night motel.

0 out of 5 Stars. AVOID! Sheets were stained, floors were dirty and sticky, mold and dirt was all over bathroom and no smoke detectors. Worst part there was no strike plate for the door lock. Completely unsafe.

We stayed one night. The room was very clean and smelled nice. The heat worked well. The water was hot even after 2 long showers. The gentleman at the front counter explained everything in depth and was very kind. If you're looking for somewhere affordable in the Richmond area, definitely check this place out. It does have a pool but considering it's October it was not open.

This room is a gem! It's quiet and CLEAN! The people are friendly and accommodating and you just can't beat the price. Did I mention how clean it was? Nice place, nothing fancy but nice. I will stay here again.

I stay weekly here at the cozy garden inn, and I have no complaints. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and peaceful. Lots of TV channels for a motel as well. Very close to mcdonalds and other restaraunts.
