Quality Inn Aiken North

Easy booking & checkin. Room was clean. I felt safe. But the bath accumulated water (clogged drain?) and the shower curtain looks ancient.

First — I was sent to a room that was full of trash and had a torn mattress and smelled. (214) I get it mistakes happen, but I have to be honest the place had a real Filthy feel after that. -2 stars. Second — my bed was clean I believe (no bug bites) therefore I did give you one star 👏 congrats but overall, my floor and shower was not clean. -1 star. Lastly — Customer service. -1 star. The man working acted like he didn’t know I was coming, he didn’t follow back up to see if my second room was OK. He Didn’t Offer me a bottle of water — nothing.. Try and pretend to do you job bud. Icing on the cake — I tried to check out and turn my key in, a young lady made me hand it through some weird bullet proof window, even though it was like 10 o’clock at night, as if I was some kind of criminal

This hotel falls into the top 2 worse places I have ever stayed in 73 years but before describing what was experienced. I would like to note that the young lady works at the front desk was absolutely a delight, and she did everything in her limited power to make our stay pleasant. Upon getting to our room. The first thing we noticed was the room was swarming with hundreds of juice flies on everything. Further inspection we found the floor filthy (note a towel we ran across the floor just in one small area of the room), a toilet that was rocking off its base, tub drain that wouldn't work, though it had great water pressure, bathroom sink that wouldn’t drain, towels to accommodate only one person and an entry door that was poorly sealed on 3 sides, allowing major light and insects access to

Chair leg fell off. Bed was comfortable but made cracking noise when getting in. Outside of waste can had black mold on it. This is an older motel, so light was showing under the door. Breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about. Would stay here again because of price and pet policy

My vehicle broke down on I20 so I received a tow to this hotel at about 10 pm. I was not expecting much because I was having a crisis; however, from start to finish, Holly was a dream and a pleasure! She took care of me and my dog and made sure we were comfortably accommodated even while I had to leave to go pick up a rental the next day! I don't know what others experienced, but for me in the midst of a travel crisis, this place was IDEALLY LOCATED and very comfortable.
