Quaker Inn

I booked last minute and stayed in an adorable room (4) on the 1st floor... 2 twin beds, a small but private bathroom, TV, large dresser and a fridge. Not fancy but very homey and comfortable...the beds and comforter were cozy and the AC and ceiling fan worked great. Spoke back and forth via email (and then in person) with Kevin and he was very helpful and kind. We utilized the complimentary beach towels, chairs and umbrella which was great...less we had to pack! Coffee and tea were provided and canned soda and bottled water were available to purchase. 1.5 blocks to the beautiful beach, Ocean Grove is a gorgeous little town! Coffee, snacks and pizza on the same street within a block as well as some shops. Days awesome ice cream was a quick walk away as well! The Inn was very clean and the

Our stay at The Quaker Inn was simply amazing. Located just off the beach on the main street in town and within walking distance from Asbury Park, this very quaint inn was the perfect place to relax and unwind for a quick getaway. The inn was immaculate with the most charming decor. Our room was perfect with all the modern amenities available. They even had cold bottled water, beach chairs and towels available for its patrons. The owners are very hands-on and you can tell they truly care about their guests experience. We really loved the serenity of this historic beach town, the location, charm and hospitality of The Quaker Inn. While this was our first time, it most certainly will not be our last. Next time we plan stay at The Lilligaard, their sister location just a couple block away.

The front desk and main salon area of the Inn were well kept and provided nice amenities like tea bar and towels and umbrellas for the beach. The staff who checked us in and out were friendly. The location of the inn was perfect. Super close to the beach and walking distance to neighboring Asbury Park. The Inn is also on a main street that has many shops and restaurants. We stayed in room 11. It was in definite need of some love and care. Old window unit air conditioner was very dusty as were the baseboards in the bathroom. The bathroom was also poorly ventilated. The whole room looked very worn. The beds were comfortable and the bedding appeared clean.

Friendly staff, two short blocks to the beach, beautiful front porches (1st floor and 2nd floor) overlooking the quiet sidewalk and street, simple yet good rooms, clean, excellent umbrellas and chairs for the beach, coffee in the morning by 7:00 AM is included. An excellent value at one of the best beaches in the region.

We stayed here for a couple of nights whilst exploring the New Jersey coast. Such a super hotel with a great warm welcome upon arrival. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Bed was so comfortable! This is in a great location for beach, shops & generally getting around the area. After a hectic few days staying in New York it was lovely to have a contrast and stay at The Quaker for a tranquil few days. Would definitely stay here again.
