Hotel Albatross

We did a quick one night Valentines Day getaway, not too far from home. When they texted before my trip asking if I had any special requests, I asked about flowers or rose petals in the room, since it was our first night without our kids in quite some time. Not only did they make it happen, but they set it up so beautifully, and made it more special with robes, eye masks, sparking cider, and chocolate covered strawberries. Above and beyond is an understatement. The room was gorgeous, staff was wonderful and I can honestly say it brought my partner to (happy) tears. We will definitely be back.

I can’t say enough good things about Hotel Albatross! I found this diamond in the rough last year, And since then, it’s the only place I stay when I go to the shore. It screams luxury and class, yet at the same time, promotes relaxation to the hilt.. I consider this my home away from home now whenever I go to the beach. The staff, our second to none, and make you feel like family. Attention to detail is noted around every corner, And I can’t think of a thing they can do to make this place any better!! To anyone reading this, I tell you book your reservation now, it’s the best thing you’re ever gonna do for yourself.

This was just the escape from NYC that we needed. We love Ocean Grove and this visit was outstanding, because we stayed at this stunningly renovated, fully modern, perfectly located place. We had previously stayed at another of the well-known hotels in OG, but I think is now our new "home" when we go there. ||Our room was small and didn't have a great view, but honestly, we didn't pay for the best room in the house so we were not surprised by that. Howver, the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is beautiful and spa-like, and it was just a lovely place to unwind after a day out enjoying the area. Over the past decade I’ve been to several cozy bed-and-breakfast accommodations in Ocean Grove and had mostly memorable experiences. I guess it gets down to what you’re looking for. Hotel Albatross offers modern luxury within the walls of a newly renovated 19th century home. Ocean porch views, well appointed rooms with special attention to the smallest details. The staff fully intent upon anticipating your every need, and meeting any additional request with genuine hospitality. In addition, rooms totally ADA compliant with an easily accessible elevator entrance in the back of the hotel. Already booked another 2 night stay. Enjoy!

A total treat from beginning to end. I was greeted by the warmest, most helpful staff the entire time I was there. The lobby exudes charm and the rooms are impeccably clean and spacious. The service was outstanding. It was obvious that they were all there to make certain my stay with them was lacking nothing. They, indeed, succeeded. I thank them, sincerely, for making my stay in Ocean Grove so pleasurable.
