I cannot say enough good things about my experience here. Fantastic location, hardworking air conditioner, well appointed. Bernadette is an absolute treasure; resourceful, kind host, and makes one heck of a breakfast spread (plus custom omelettes!). We had some hiccups in our reservation (more of an expedia issue than anything) and Bernadette walked it through with me, helping me find an even better rate than I had booked! Lovely refreshing drinks throughout the day. Exceptional hospitality. Thank you B!

The Beachliner Hotel in Ocean Grove, New Jersey may be the best kept secret of the Jersey Shore! As soon as you step foot in the door you feel the warmth of the cozy lobby with it’s fireplace and comfy couches. But the warmth of the lobby fades in comparison to the beaming smile of the innkeeper, Bernadette. She is a phenomenal cook and pastry chef and takes pride in serving the best to her guests, who instantly are treated like “family.” The combination of made-to-order breakfast, hot coffee and tea on hand were a pleasant surprise. We were lucky when we arrived to be the only guests for the evening, occupying 3 of the 19 rooms and camping out on the lobby couches for a late night snack of fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies. This hotel is truly a hidden gem in Asbury Park, NJ, and a significant part of what made our experience unforgettable was the incredible innkeeper, Ms. Bernadette Roche. From the moment we arrived, Bernadette welcomed us with open arms and genuine warmth. Her attention to detail and dedication to ensuring we felt comfortable and special made all the difference during our stay. She took the time to share recommendations for local attractions, dining options, and even provided us with personalized touches that made us feel like we were staying with a close friend rather than at a hotel. We love this place! Once my boyfriend and I find a place abroad that feels like home we make a habit of coming back & The Beachliner is definitely our home down the Jersey Shore. If you find yourself taken in by the beauty of Ocean Grove and always wish to yourself "I wish that house was mine" while walking the quiet streets - this hotel gives you the chance to stay in one. Situated extremely close to the beach, it's obvious the Innkeeper, Bernadette, works hard to make everyone feel at home here. Many different choices await you downstairs for breakfast. It may sound like it defeats the purpose of going away for a bit but when you stay here you don't feel like leaving. Comfy beds, beautiful clean rooms, quiet. Beach views from front and back balconies. You can hear the waves at night.

The minute we walked late in the evening, we were welcomed by the inn keeper, Bernadette Roche. I have never experienced this kind of warm welcoming. The breakfast every morning was unbelievable. She would baked chocolate large cookies for the afternoon and her baking was so unexpected but so appreciated.The dinning room was so clean and the food was so delicious. I have NEVER seen anything like that. I have travel throughout many countries but this place was different. Thank God the Beachliner Hotel has Bernadette Roche. I am definitely returning to this hotel.
