Powers Little Campground LLC

Very nice campground with full hookups. Jenny checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Wifi was great, especially in this part of Florida where cell coverage can be spotty. They also provide a bathroom and washer/dryer. The location is excellent for night sky viewing and there are many nearby places for kayaking or fishing.

This is a brand new campground. The owners are helpful and friendly. All the sites are 50 amp service. If you need 30 amp service bring an adapter. All of the spots are level and clean. It is easy to use the hookups. There is a picnic table and fire ring at each site. Keep your dog on a leash but there are plenty of areas to walk them. Keaton Beach is just a little down the road. A gas station and and store is nearby. I would recommend Powers Little Campground.

I luckily stumbled upon Powers "Home" Campground on my way out of St. Pete to look for higher ground prior to Milton hitting. Jenny and Mike set myself and Oliver (dog) on a nice HIGH piece of ground for our tent and belongings. But the best part of our stay was the hospitality that was shown to us. I stayed two nights and shared three meals with the Powers (Mike, Jenny, Sydney & Tyler) and their super friendly pets! I didn't realize until I drove into the area that this area got destroyed a week earlier from Helene! Amazing how people can come together and make the most out of what you have and love. This family will always hold a place in my heart. Thank you!

The five stars are for Jenny, Michael and their sweet and fun family. They are salt of the earth folk. Some of the best Campground owners I've ever had the honor of meeting. Jenny made my 4 year old a beautiful birthday cake and threw her a birthday party. We had a cookie decorating contest and outdoor family movie night. We had such an awesome time. Michael has helped me repair or done maintenance on a couple of issues I had with my motorhome. I had to insist on paying him for the help. The campground has nice roomy gravel lots. Very quiet and peaceful. At night you can see many beautiful stars while taking in the fresh air. It is a new campground but they are continuing to build to have many more amenities. They are well worth the stop if for just overnight or long term.

If we could give 10 stars we would! Jenny, Michael & their family are GREAT! They were very welcoming & helpful! They're Skoolie Friendly! They have a restroom, washer/dryer, a vending machine for drinks/snacks, they provide WiFi. We travel full time & this is the first campground that made us feel like home! Definitely reccomend!! You will not regret it! (By the way: If you have Tmobile, you will not have internet but you can connect to their Wifi to fix that. Verizon & AT&T have the best signal)
