Kamp Keaton

We made reservations for this place because of all the reviews. The reservation was easy to make even though full payment is due up front. The invoice clearly stated the cancelation policy, and yes I read it... 11 days prior to the reservation we had to cancel due to unforseen circumstances. Because it was not 15 days prior we are now paying for our unforseen circumstances and our monthly stay here that we will not be using. This review is not in any way shape or form a dig on the campground but a warning to make sure you have no last minute unforseen circumstances (accident health issues, break down, death in the family, etc) as your stay will not be refunded and you will find yourself paying for something you won't be enjoying when you will need that money elsewhere. Our 20 year family tradition of spending the 4th of July scalloping at Keaton Beach was thoroughly enjoyed by all at Camp Keaton this year! The great location, friendly host, and exceptional campground amenities made our trip comfortable and as always memorable.

Great little campground, Jim and Laura are great hosts. They treat everyone like family and we can't wait to come back. We spent two months here and we loved it, beautiful area to fish and relax.

Pulled in very short notice. We were able to get into a site and be invited to a happy hour bonfire and welcomed like family! What an amazing experience. Clean, friendly, welcoming, and pet friendly! The outdoor shower under the stars in 40 degree weather was something I’ll remember forever. See you all again!

We had a fantastic time at Kamp Keaton and already looking forward to our next visit. Camp hostess Sue was very accommodating & friendly. It's an immaculate, safe & friendly campground with great amenities.
