Pokolodi Lodge

We love The Pokolodi Lodge so much we have been coming here since the 1990s. Why? The Pokolodi is the best value at one of the world’s best ski resorts, Snowmass Mountain. The Pokolodi is an impeccably managed and maintained classic ski lodge in the heart of Snowmass village. The lodge has a fantastic lobby/lounge where friendly guests drink wine by the fire and play games with their families. In the morning, a complimentary breakfast is served in the sun-blessed lounge where skiers are dressed to hit the slopes. The staff is warm and welcoming. The clean, quiet and comfortable rooms are appointed with newer furniture and comfortable beds. The large outdoor pool & hot tub is the perfect place to apres-ski with a beer and friends, watching the snow fall. All of that makes for an ex

Very nice! Clean no smell, comfy beds, 4 pillows on each bed, yes thank you! Nice big tv. Plenty of easily accessible outlets. Desk, easy chair (it was under the TV, but it had gliders, so you could move it around the room). Coffee maker, hair dryer, iron & board. Bathroom sink area stocked nicely. Toilet/shower room kinda tight but no problems. Nice towels. The shower— water pressure was OK, but as I showered it varied between getting cold, getting very hot, and pressure going down. So that was very annoying. There was breakfast available till 9 am but since we were on vacation, we never made it, so I can’t report on that. But there was coffee and tea available all day. Pool & spa nicely heated. Located right next to the mall, so close to the gondolas down to base camp, or up the mountain

We had a great stay at the Pokolodi Lodge this past July. One draw back is the lack of AC in the summer- we were travelling with our 1 & 3yo, so would have benefited from better temp control. Thankfully the windows open wide and the area felt safe to do so. The kids and us LOVED the pool, and walking distance to a bunch of pick up was great. The front desk staff, see photo, were adorable and we would stay again for a stay in the Snowmass/Aspen area

The Pokolodi is the last vestige of what it was like to stay in Snow Mass in the vintage years. It is a classic no-frills-but-great-vibe woody lodge with a fantastic, kind staff, super clean rooms, nice cozy public space to hang in...and for those who ski, it is SUPER near the lifts (I was surprised). Amazing something like this still exists in the crazed world of Aspen/Snowmass.

For the price, this place is great. Rooms are comfy, pool and jacuzzi is well kept, and staff is friendly. The location is FANTASTIC Definitely will be back!
