This is a great place to stay – this is our second time here! Traveling out here to see the glorious aspens, but we don’t want to stay in the crazy busy town of Aspen. ||The beds and pillows are amazing! The kitchen is fully supplied with quality items – even a crock pot. ||There are no luggage carts like we’re used to at hotels, but when we called and asked about it, they sent a strong young man who made two trips up and down the three flights with no problem! Then we took the elevator with the rest. (Yes, we travel with a lot.)||Things I would have liked but don’t reduce my 5-star rating – we only had half a roll of toilet paper and no spares; someone just forgot I’m sure. We had an amazing stay at Lichenhearth! Although some hair is stuck on the pillow, overall it's quite good. They've got some leftover shampoo, soap, dry shampoo etc. Cooking pan, glass, bowls and they pretty much have everything! The coffee machine is good too. During the day, the room is a little bit dark as ours were not facing the sun which was good for us as well. Thank you very much for everything! - we enjoyed the board games too!

The dishwasher was broken and there were loose, broken parts lying in a pool of water on the bottom. There was a hole in the wall with wires hanging out. The bed was a metal frame that stuck out from the mattress and the mattress was a lumpy mess. Kitchen was not clean. Tiny bathroom. Heat was hard to adjust: too hot, too cold. |Only good thing was it was a good location. Management agreed with me and I got a partial refund butI would not stay there again.

Excellent rooms. Large, clean, very well equipped, lots of storage space. Great location short walk to gondola. About 1/3 the price of a comparable unit in Aspen. Human services, e.g. desk attendants, were located in a different location quite far from our building. They promised to meet our requests, by phone, but failed to do so most of the time. We will still look forward to returning.

Our original booking was at the Stonebridge Inn, chosen based on a positive past experience with Hyatt. However, upon arrival, the room we were assigned had an unpleasant odor. We promptly requested a room change, only to discover that the hotel was fully booked. This situation was rather frustrating, especially after a long day of travel. The lady at the front desk made an effort to persuade us to stay in the room despite the smell but did offer a discounted dinner as compensation.||||Fortunately, Sam, who was accommodating, stepped in and arranged for us to stay in a condominium instead. While Sam did his best to address the issue, it was disappointing to find ourselves in this situation in the first place.
