Point 1 Resort Motel

I read all reviews before booking this place. I felt we could deal with the negative reviews I read. We couldn’t. Carpets were beyond nasty! Stains that likely could be removed, were not. When we came back for the day, nothing was done to our room as far as cleaning. Coffee supplies were not restocked, nor soap or anything else. Beds were not made. We asked for a blanket for the 2nd night, and when using it, noticed it had a huge stain on it. We were both grossed out, and will never return here!!

My husband and I had a 2nd floor room with a balcony view, which was perfect for sunrises & susets. Room was clean. The bed was super comfy. Price was reasonable & the staff's customer service was exceptional . It was also in walking distance to restaurants, the beach, shopping & ice cream.i highly recommend this establishment

The bed was huge. I wouldn’t say it’s the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in but definitely worth it for the location. We went bar hopping and saw bad fish and didn’t have to drive anywhere or order a uber. Everything was within walking distance. I’d stay again for sure. And reasonable with price.

This place is kind of gross. There’s no windows and you can’t get fresh air, there’s a musty odor, the volume on the TV didn’t work, the floor hadn’t been cleaned in a longgg time. It’s too bad because it’s a decent location. The owners should take more pride, I think they’re hurting themselves by not making this a nicer place to stay. I come to Misquamicut almost every year but I will not stay here again.

I am a slender man, 5'8" and 150 lbs. The first thing we noticed was that the window does not open. This prevented us from enjoying the ocean breeze. Then we noticed that none of the rooms had windows that opened. Next, there is no sink in the bathroom, only a child-sized toilet and a tiny shower stall. The shower head was stationary, which meant I could not rinse the lower part of my body. The sink next to the refrigerator did not have hot water. The door lock is an old-fashioned spring lock that anyone with a butter knife could forcibly open the door. Forget about trying to take an afternoon nap, because here comes the sewage truck with its loud vacuum pump sucking sewage out of the cesspool.
