Plim Plaza Hotel

Hotel is clean and sufficient. Latia at the front desk is a breath of fresh air. Always smiling, going above and beyond, and sets a high standard for customer service. She makes personal connections instead of just going through the motions. We all could learn from her on how to display even half of her energy and kindness. It made our stay much sweeter. This girl is going places.

My husband and I had a great weekend at the Plim Plaza in our ocean view room. Latia at the front desk is a delight. She made sure that my husband’s request for a chair in the room was done. The room was clean and had everything that we needed. We loved being so close to all of the important restaurants and activities. The best part was watching the Classic Car parade from the comfortable front porch!

I’ve stayed at this hotel for years and used to be a loyal guest, but my experience this past week has left me certain I’ll never return. From the moment I entered the room, the floor was disgracefully filthy—pills, fake eyelashes, candy, crumbs, and more. The shower curtain was moldy, the sink had no hand soap, instead it had an empty shampoo bottle attached to it. The fridge leaked, soaking the carpet (we kept our shoes on the whole time). The TV remote didn’t work, blurring out most channels, and the bed linens were stained. To make matters worse, we had to ask for housekeeping—when they came ONCE our entire visit, the only thing they did was make 1/2 of the beds (but left a pillow on the ground) and no vacuuming was done; the towels and washcloths were either never delivered or stained

Positive: Location Negative: Rooms need a lot of repairs.

The photos of the property do not match what it appears in person. However, the staff was accommodating and nice, but the hallways and equipment are outdated and needs renovations badly. Parking is very limited, we had to walk about two blocks to park in a lot that was owned by them. We had a flood in the bathroom from water that was leaking from the floor above us and was moved to a room that was dry but again very outdated if you are on a budget and don’t care about amenities in the room then this is a place for you. The hotel is convenient, but as far as aesthetics and upgrades, it is not somewhere I would stay again. They had guest sleeping in the lobby. That’s all you need to know, first impression is the last impression. Definitely got cat fished.
