Plantation Island

The condo itself was great—clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for. The location was perfect and the unit was well kept, which made the stay very enjoyable. The only downside was the experience with the front desk staff. Unfortunately, they came across as pretty unfriendly and not very helpful and just rude (2 older ladies). It made the check-in and chrck out experience feel a bit unwelcoming. Other than that, the condo itself was excellent. If the front desk service improved, this place would easily be a 5-star stay. Maintance man is super helpful and friendly!

I was pleasantly surprised as to how beautiful and large are suite was. We had an ocean view suite and the suite was furnished in beautiful tropical colours. The washrooms in our suite were large with full length mirrors and a hottub. The staff was friendly and helpful and the Ormond Beach area is very beautiful with a beautiful beach front. There are 2 pools, 3 outdoor jacuzzi's and 1 of the pools is heated. I highly recommend this resort and this fantastic location in Florida which is also very close to Daytona Beach.

We stayed at plantation Island for a week in early November. And it was a lovely stay. We stayed in the high-rise building with an amazing beach view every day. The furniture was perfectly adequate for our family. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed. The kitchen can feel a little bit tight, but they are fully functional with full size refrigerator, stove, and a dishwasher. The kitchen was stocked with dishes And appliances such as a blender to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The resort offers activities, and meal items daily. The daily ancti and meal items are listed daily around the activities room in the elevators. There are two beautiful clean pools. We did a time share trade through Interval International and got a 1-BR here. Our room was an ocean front, on 3rd floor and right in the middle. The view couldn't be better even on a rainy day. The room is perfect for two people. The bathroom has the toilet and shower separate from the sink. I took off 1 star for the room because the bathroom is a bit small. The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was clean. The resort is old but they keep it nice and clean. There are multiple pools and spas. We will definitely come back again if we can get it through the trade in next year.

Ormond Beach. We stayed here with a trade thru RCI. It is an older property but very well maintained. We heard the furnishings might need to be updated but our unit was nice although small. What we did not know was that the activities director also served simple one item breakfast and lunch at a reasonable price. She also had a different activity every day from Bingo to painting. The front desk and maintenance were very accommodating. Two nice pools and ocean frontage with a wide beach like Daytona. A couple farmers markets during the week. All necessary stores a couple miles away on the island. We got to see a space shuttle launch at a distance on the beach. We plan to go again.
