Pismo Beach Hotel

Let me start by saying the staff at The Pismo Beach hotel are so amazing. We really feel like family everytime we visit. The accommodations are, spacious, clean, and so comfortable. The hotel is safe and the location can not be beat. Shout out to Tammy and Debbie for doing such an amazing job!!!! With all the choices in Pismo this is always our go to!! Thank you for always taking care of us!

We had a great experience. The woman at the front desk was very kind and even upgraded our room to a suite. The old school elevator is fun and there's a great café downstairs.

Positive: Very conveniently located! It's a block away from the pier and the beach; steps away from amazing restaurants--Best clam chowder at Splash, Best cinnamon rolls at Old West. Didn't have to search for street parking since the hotel has included parking. Negative: Rooms have some thin walls, so we could hear everything that was going on next door to us.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Pismo Beach Hotel. We had a spacious suite that was clean and seemed to be recently painted. Staff was helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for cruising the tourist shops and restaurants and walking the pier, and it is only a mile's walk to the Butterfly Grove. Continental breakfast was mostly carbs (bagels, english muffins, danish, granola, instant oatmeal packets), but they also had fruit, juice and yogurt. Coffee was available all day, which was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Tammy the receptionist was extremely helpful. Very polite. Had a room on the 3rd floor. The window had an lock that only allowed you to open it about 6 inches. At night the room was very hot. The bed was noisy and you could hear everything inside and on the street below. Other tenants would close the doors to their rooms and the walls would shake. At around 06:00 am the street sweeper would come and wake you up, so good luck trying to sleep. Finally got a tool to open the window on the 3rd night to open the window so we could sleep. Only good thing thing was it was close to all the shops, restaurants and pier. Not recommended if you want a comfortable and quiet hotel.
