PINEWOOD Motel

This place is cozy, and quaint. It's nothing special if you're looking to just hang out in a motel room for a few days, but it's the perfect place to come wind down after a day of fishing,kayaking, or hiking , and get a night's rest, and that's what it's designed for.It is old yes, but clean. And the owners are helpful, and look out for you. It's definitely the type of place, you grew up coming to with your parents. They are currently remodeling a room now, so any of the bad reviews you may read, they are working on it.

Nice location close to everything. Clean, friendly family owned. very close to river and Amish community. just a mile from town.. we had kitchen, full bath and very large bedroom in our suite. we did not expect the room to be this HUGE in such a small town and small place. This motel was located on main road and was very easy to find.

Clean. Felt Safe and Secure. Nice Manager . Room had everything I needed. Other guests seemed family orientated and friendly. I will return when visiting my mother again. I received a weekly rate - I paid for five nights and was given the other two for free. Nice deal!

clean room-nice management. Had a blast in Mio and this motel was just what the doctor ordered. Would recommend. We brought our small dog and was happy to see we didn't have to pay any pet fees or extra charges for our dog Lovey. Nice location too.

While checking in staff was nice, but dressed/looked very unprofessional and the "office" smelled awful. The bed was decently comfortable, but room was dirty and smelled horrid...I was able to somewhat air it out and spray perfume to make the best if my weekend. Floors had dog food among other things, like it hadn't been vacuumed in a while. The shower was very outdated and the hot water was messed up. The bathroom sink had NO hot water and the towel rack was coming off the wall, and was dirty. The wifi did not work unless you sat outside of your door, while tons of others were doing the same thing. The motel was conviently located, but the filth was too much to get past.
